The roof on the new kitchen has gone up like “gangbusters.” The framing crew is fantastic and acrobatic. The roof really defines the building now, and you can get an idea of what a nice, big space we will have for prasadam cooking. The construction continues to be on schedule, and we are really pleased with the quality of the work. Additionally we have begun some of the remodeling in the pujari room, removing the bulky air handlers from the floor and wall, and hanging them out of the way in the ceiling. One of the clothes closets has been taken out, and we are beginning to prep for the extended altar floor that will be built to accommodate bathing and dressing all the small deities.
